Nicholas Georgiadis was an outstanding stage designer and for many years a highly regarded teacher of stage design at the Slade School of Art. His painterly instincts and sense of history greatly influenced his work, producing some of the most magnificent designs for theatre, opera and ballet of the 20th century.
This lavishly illustrated full colour book celebrates his life's work, most notably with the Royal Ballet, The Royal Opera, and the Paris Opera Ballet.
Introduction by Sir John Tooley, General Director of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, 1970-88.
