On his wedding anniversary, Spencer is unexpectedly visited by his daughter. What begins as a mourning of their loss quickly becomes a confrontation over their shared past. We follow the relationship between father and daughter as they embark on an emotional course, which leads them into the legal system and out again. Their journey explores the wounds we unwittingly inflict upon those we care for most.
